Chimney & Wall Caulking

Problem

When the chimney is against the outside wall of the house there is usually caulking between the chimney and house siding to prevent water getting behind the siding or chimney itself and causing structural damage to both the chimney and walls of the house. Often this caulking is cracked, separated, or missing altogether.

Solution

We apply a solid bead of caulking up the entire height of the chimney below the roofline to prevent water penetration and resulting damage in this area.
