Flue Tile Replacement

Flue tiles in a chimney are often damaged or broken by water, frost or chimney fires. The top flue tile, most exposed to the elements, is frequently cracked, spalled or broken from the action of water and frost. If left unrepaired the damage can spread to the crown, bricks and other flue tiles creating more extensive damage and expensive repairs.

The top flue tile is easily replaced and then protected from further water damage with quality sealant products and a rain cap.

When replacing flue tiles we ensure they are well sealed to the flue tiles below, and properly installed. We also inspect the entire chimney and masonry for any other issues that could cause problems in the future.
